BLRF Flange | ![]() |
It is Blind Raised Face (BLRF) Flange. Blind flange is a kind of round plate with no center hole but with all the proper bolt holes. Leading products include blrf flange manufacturers, blrf blind flanges suppliers. It is used to blank off the ends of piping, valves and pressure vessel opening. From the standpoint of internal pressure and bolt loading, blind flanges, particularly in the larger sizes, are the most highly stressed of all flange types; however, since the maximum stresses in a blind flange are bending stresses at the center, they can safely be permitted to be higher than in other types of flanges. This blind flange is available in various sizes and materials. This flange helps in easy access to a line once it has been sealed. The blind flange is sometimes custom made or machined to accept a nominal sized pipe to which reduction is being made. This reduction can be a threaded reduction or welded reduction. They may often be supplied with NPT fittings to allow pressure test connections to be fitted. These Flanges are available in the following range. Stainless Steel: ASTM A182 F304, F304L, F304H, F316, F316L, F316Ti, F310, F310S, F321, F321H, F317, F347, F347H, F904L. Duplex Stainless Steel: UNS S31803, UNS S32750 Carbon Steel: ASTM A105, Alloy Steel: ASTM A182 F1, F11, F22, F5, F9, F91 Nickel Alloys: Monel 400 & 500, Inconel 600 & 625, Incoloy 800, 825, Hastelloy C22, C276 Copper Alloys: Copper, Brass & Gunmetal Size: 1/8" NB TO 48"NB. |

WNRF Flange | ![]() |
It is Weld Neck Raised Face (WNRF) Flange. The weld neck flange derives its name from the neck portion of the flange that is welded to the end of a piping system. Weld Neck Flanges, wnrf flange exporters mumbai, weld neck raised face flange have a long tapered hub and are often used for high pressure applications. It is designed to transfer stress to the pipe, thereby reducing high stress concentrations at the base of the flange. Weld Neck flanges are costlier due to their design and engineering, and increased material The three most common types of facings for weld neck flanges are raised face (most common), flat face, and ring type joint (RTJ). When ordering a weld neck flange, it is important to specify the schedule pipe is being used for. This is because the inside diameter of the flange will match the inside diameter of your pipe. The butt-weld joint this flange has with the pipe along with the tapered hub, makes this flange very resistant to dishing and a very sturdy connection. These flanges are ideal for extreme fluctuations of temperature and in environments where there may be a lot of bending and handling of the flanges. These Flanges are available in the following range. Stainless Steel: ASTM A182 F304, F304L, F304H, F316, F316L, F316Ti, F310, F310S, F321, F321H, F317, F347, F347H, F904L. Duplex Stainless Steel: UNS S31803, UNS S32750 Carbon Steel: ASTM A105, Alloy Steel: ASTM A182 F1, F11, F22, F5, F9, F91 Nickel Alloys: Monel 400 & 500, Inconel 600 & 625, Incoloy 800, 825, Hastelloy C22, C276 Copper Alloys: Copper, Brass & Gunmetal Size: 1/8" NB TO 48"NB. SWRF Flange | ![]() |
It is Socket Weld Raised Face (SWRF) Flange. Socket Weld Flanges are similar to slip-on flanges, swrf flange wholesale supplies, socket weld raise face flange, however, socket welds have an internal recess on the inside diameter to allow for a smoother flow of the process fluid. The positive of this is that is creates a smooth bore with the proper welding and grinding. The negative of this type of flange is that it can be more expensive than a slip-on due to more intricate machining, and they can be less readily available than slip-ons due to the fact that the bottom half of the inside diameter must be made to the same schedule as the pipe that is being used. (Customer must specify the schedule needed) These socket weld flanges were initially developed for use on smaller sizes of pipe at higher pressure ratings. They are more used on lower pressure temperature as well today. These Flanges are available in the following range. Stainless Steel: ASTM a182 F304, F304L, F304H, F316, F316L, F316Ti, F310, F310S, F321, F321H, F317, F347, F347H, F904L. Lap Joint Flange | ![]() |
It is Flange with radius at the bore. Lap Joint flanges are similar to slip-on flanges. The only difference is that it has a curved radius at the bore and face to accommodate a lap joint stub end. They may be used at all pressures and are available in a full size range. These lap joint flanges slip over the pipe, and are not welded. They are otherwise fastened to it. Here the bolting pressure is transferred to the gasket by the pressure of the flange against the back of the pipe lap. Lap Joint flanges are used on piping fitted with lapped pipe or with lap joint stub ends, lap joint flange manufacturer india, lap joint flange products, the combined initial cost of the two items being approximately one-third higher than that of comparable welding neck flanges. Their pressure-holding ability is little, if any, better than that of slip-on flanges and the fatigue life of the assembly is only one-tenth that of welding neck flanges. The lap joint flange with the stub end assembly are normally used in systems requiring frequent dismantling for inspection and cleaning and where the ability to swivel flanges and to align bolt holes materially eases the erection of large diameter or unusually stiff piping. These flanges are also used in applications where there is a need to facilitate bolt alignment. Their use at points where severe bending stress occurs should be avoided. |

Spectacle Blind Flange | ![]() |
It is also called as Figure-8 Blind. It is generally a piece of metal that is cut to fit between two pipe flanges and usually sandwiched between two gaskets. a spectacle blind is often made from two metal discs that are attached to each other by a small section of steel. The shape is similar to a pair of glasses or "spectacles" - hence the name spectacle blind. One end of the blind will have an opening to allow flow through the pipe during operation and the other end is solid to block flow during maintenance. They are generally installed as a permanent device to separate process piping systems. spectacle blind flange exporter mumbai, orifice flange supplier india, spectacle blind flange steel. The whole idea of a spectacle blind is so that one can be absolutely sure that an item of equipment is properly and securely blanked off with no possibility of any flow or leakage through a valve during maintenance. The flow can be diverted to other items of equipment but not just bypassed around the blank as this would compromise the safety function of the spectacle blind. The flow has to valved off and pressure relieved prior to loosening flange bolts and swinging the blind. |

Orifice Flange | ![]() |
Orifice Flanges are intended for use instead of standard pipe flanges when an orifice plate or flow nozzle must be installed. Pairs of pressure "Tappings", mostly on 2 sides, directly opposite each other, are machined into the orifice flange. This makes separate orifice carriers or tappings in the pipe wall unnecessary.
On the image above a set Orifice Flanges is shown, where the tappings are sealed with a plug, and where a jack screw is machined. This jack screw is used to facilitate separating the flanges for inspection or replacement of the "Orifice Plate. |
